Consumer Reviews

You can put in a whole orange and the 150-watt motor would be able to handle it. Since this is a new product there aren’t a lot of reviews so far. But those who left feedback like how this juicer works. The first thing they like would be the wide feed chute that does not necessitate a lot of chopping.

One concern for me would be the quality control – to be more specific the juicing screen. There was a review that mentioned the screen cracking juicing carrots. It does come with a two-year warranty so that offers some peace of mind.  Aicok did not use Ultem plastic which could be a factor in terms of durability or lack thereof.

However with that concern in mind, if you’re going to juice a lot of hard stuff like carrots or beet, choose something that uses Ultem components like Kuvings or Omega.

Where can I buy this?

The best place, the only place you can buy this is in Amazon where it costs less than $120. Unfortunately, Amazon does not offer extended warranties for this product.

What is a Slow Masticating Juicer?

The most common of these is the centrifugal juicer which is similar in principle to a blender. There are two distinctly different types of juicer on the market, each using different principals to carry out their task.

Using a spinning blade at the base of the unit to chop the solids, juicer’s differ to blenders in that the rotary blades push the contents against a metal mesh. This works to further separate the flesh from the juice and produces a quick drink with less residual pulp. Slow juicers work through the act of squeezing juice from the flesh rather than chopping.

The slow juicers produce more than pulp thus giving mini more nutrient content in the juice and do not produce as much heat as a fast juicer due to its slow operation. … The slow crushing action helps compost the maximum nutrients from the vegetables, fruits and leafy greens input into the machine.
A Slower Juicer Gives Better Juice and More Juice. … All masticating juicers give a more nutritious juice by breaking down the fiber of the fruit and vegetables more thoroughly, releasing more nutrients into the juice. They do this because of their chewing and grinding action, not because of how slowly they must work.

With regards to juicing, this is definitely true for many people’s requirements. It’s said that good things come to those that wait. Although they’re a more expensive option than a centrifugal juicer, there are several benefits gained in using a slow masticating juicer, including:

How long can you store juice?

Since this is a slow juicer that does not suck in a lot of air, you can store the juice for up to 3 days. If you freeze it you can store it even longer.

How much juice can it extract?

When you compare this to a similarly priced centrifugal juicer, this will hand down win the yield contest. Aicok says that it’ll extract roughly around 10% more than a centrifugal juicer.

But that would be at the cost of speed which is one of the biggest benefits of the latter.

This machine will extract a good amount from fruits and vegetables. So a wet pulp makes you cringe then don’t hesitate to switch to this.
